Vice District Governor Lion Earl has served as Kanawha City Lions Club President, was a zone chair for two years; was the first Lion Service for Children chair in District 29-0; served as chair for the Blind and Deaf ski program; and served as MD 29 Chairperson for the Youth Exchange Program.

Vice District Governor Lion Earl has attended three international conventions; three West Virginia State conventions and two leadership schools. Lion Earl has received International President Letters as well as numerous awards given at the cabinet level.

Lion Earl has been married to his wife for 32 years. He has six children, two (his twins) are deceased.
