Hello, my name is Karen Hall-Dundas. I am honored to be serving as your 2nd Vice District Governor. I am active in the Lesage Lions Club and also serve as the Zone 2 Chair. I have set a little contest for the clubs in our zone. The club that plants the most tree between now and March 31, 2012 will win a prize. I challenge all clubs to meet or exceed the goals set before you in planting trees. Another area that we need to work is recruitment. I challenge you to find new and creative ways to attract new members into your Lions Club. Some ideas I have heard about are tailgating prior to a local football game, advertising in the local football programs, invite the local newspaper to cover an induction of new members, or invite the news to a tree planting.
